Powder coated in matt black for the widest range of hobby applications. Matt black chain is the most practical colour for modelling purposes as the black powder coating provides a hard wearing neutral colour that is colour appropriate out of the box for many applications, easily painted over, and won't show up glaringly if your paint job gets chipped (unlike raw brass chain).
Available from eBay in 30cm (approx. 12”) and 60cm (approx. 24”) lengths, with up to 15% discounts for multiple lengths. Currently only Ultrafine is available from Amazon, also in 30cm/12" lengths.

Tiddlylinks Ultrafine (Micro) Chain
- Link size: Micro scale 1mm x 0.9mm (less than 1/16th of an inch per link)
- Links per inch: 30 links per inch when pulled taut. This is equivalent to the 40 links per inch chain advertised elsewhere, as most manufacturers measure the links per inch without pulling it completely taut. Rest assured this is the finest chain available!

- Link size: Fine scale 1.2mm x 1mm (less than 1/16th of an inch per link)
- Links per inch: 23 links per inch when pulled taut. This is equivalent to the 28 links per inch chain advertised elsewhere, as most manufacturers measure the links per inch without pulling it completely taut.
